Sandra A. M. Bell As a Special Events Producer, Production Manager &
Program Coordinator, Bell has worked with the prestigious JVC Jazz Festival,
The International African Arts Festival, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, New Jersey
Performing Arts Center, The Apollo Theater, Harlem Stages/Aaron Davis Hall,
Caribbean Cultural Center and many other world class presenters. She has been
on call for major events as the Grammys, The Emmys, The Essence Awards &
The Source Magazine Awards, Everybody’s Magazine Anniversaries. Ms. Bell has a BA in Arts Administration from NYU & a Certificate in TV & Film Production.
K. Mensah Wali has been involved with the production and booking of arts programs since his high school days in Brooklyn, NY (1960). Since then he has become a seasoned arts festival manager with over thirty years experience. He was Artistic Director of the International African Arts Festival from 1971 to 2001. Along the way he developed a strong background and a recognized expertise in special events planning, community arts programming, with an emphasis on establishing and building collaborative relationships between local communities and private and public agencies.
Some of the organizations he has worked with in various capacities are: The Caribbean Cultural Center, Kwanzaa Expo, Lincoln Center Outdoors, The Black and Puerto Rican Legislative Caucus and Restoration Corporation. He is also the Artistic Director of the Kente Arts Alliance in Pittsburgh, PA.
